Bids Co-ordinator (with Business Development) London, UK

John McAslan + Partners, a design led studio with a extensive portfolio of award-winning international projects across infrastructure, commercial, residential, education, cultural, heritage, urban design and landscape sectors is currently looking for a bids co-ordinator and assistant to the New Business Development Director, to join the team, based in our London office.

As our Bids Co-ordinator you will be responsible for researching, preparing and producing bids and competitions. The ideal candidate will have had previous experience of working in Architecture and must have proven experience submitting PQQs, ITTs, Expressions of Interest and Competition entries  

Working with our New Business Development Director you will use your industry experience to pursue relevant sectors, new avenues of business and respond to trends. You will also be responsible for maintaining the Practice CRM system and assisting with awards submissions, press releases and events.

Bids Co-ordination will be led by yourself reporting to the NBD Director, but you will be required to work closely with the whole office as you manage the Practice’s response to new business opportunities in a timely manner.

This is a fast paced and varied roll within a creative environment and to be successful you will need excellent communication skills and an advanced proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign particularly) and the Microsoft office suite. You will need to be proactive, highly organised, have the ability to manage up and down, tenacious and flexible in your approach, with an enthusiasm for architecture.
