The housing of the exhibition 'Image To Scale' in the gallery of an architectural firm is no coincidence. Architecture traffics in the tension of image and scale. The artworks by the eight recent graduates engage in a form of trafficking between image and architecture that is highlighted by the context of their display. Here, there is no simple way of distinguishing between image and object, between what is artwork and what is office infrastructure, nor how the firm and the artists exhibiting within it relate.

Developed out of the ongoing partnership between Central Saint Martins (CSM) and Acme Studios, a 'transitional’ studio space for recent graduates was created in Acme's Glassyard studio building, Stockwell, SW9. Central Saint Martins’ Associate Studio Programme offers a new-build, self-contained, ground floor open-plan space of around 1,300 sq.ft. for eight graduates from BA Fine Art at Central Saint Martins.
The two-year programme offers studio space at an average weekly rent for each artist of around Ł20 and studio visits by artists, writers and curators.
