Recognising John McAslan + Partners' (JMP) broad portfolio of international work, four of the practice's projects have been shortlisted for the World Architecture Festival Awards.
Both JMP's Iron Market (Haiti) and Stanislavsky Factory (Russia) are shortlisted in the New and Old category, whilst the practice's 5-Star Mandarin Oriental Hotel and Serviced Apartments (Doha) and Msheireb Cultural Forum (Doha) are shortlisted in the Future Projects Commercial category and the Future Projects Cultural category respectively.
The awards are part of the World Architecture Festival (WAF) and are the largest architectural awards programme in the world, celebrating the most innovative architecture from around the globe.
The winners will be announced on Friday 4 November at the World Architecture Festival in Barcelona, which runs 2-4 November.
All four of JMP's shortlisted projects can now be voted for in the OpenBuildings People's Choice Award, a new category in this year's WAF Awards, which is supported by OpenBuildings. The award provides architecture and design enthusiasts with an opportunity to vote for their favourite buildings, with the People's Choice Award presented alongside the major awards on 4 November.
Voting is open until 28 October. To vote for JMP's projects visit the following links:
