JMP Highly Commended at the RICS Awards

John McAslan + Partners' Surgeons' Hall Museums scheme in Edinburgh was highly commended at this year's RICS Awards which showcases the most inspirational initiatives and developments in land, property, construction and the environment. Founded in 1505, The Surgeons' Hall Museums is one of the oldest institutions of its kind in the world.  The Grade A-listed building, designed by William Playfair in 1832, is located within the UNESCO World Heritage Site. The new scheme introduces direct access to the Museums via a lift, a temporary exhibition space, education areas and improved toilet services, as well as a new glazed link, which adds a distinct visual identity and improves accessibility.
