JMP’s St John’s Wood Barracks gets planning permission
Westminster Council has approved John McAslan + Partners' proposals to redevelop St John's Wood Barracks, London. The project consists of 12 apartment blocks and will create 133 new homes, 59 of which will be affordable housing. The development will also convert the site's Grade II-listed riding school building into a new leisure centre. Cllr Robert Davis, deputy council leader and chairman of the planning applications committee, said: "The scheme skillfully combines modern and traditional architecture, and is of a high quality design which is sympathetic to the surrounding area."
