JMP to host tours of the Charles Carter Building at AF 2011
As part of AF 2011 (North West Architecture Festival) John McAslan + Partners will be hosting tours of the practice's award-winning Charles Carter Building at Lancaster University.
This will be an opportunity for festival goers to visit the RIBA Award-winning project, which, upon opening in April this year, introduced new, versatile learning and teaching environments within a sustainable, four-storey structure that reflects the university's modernist heritage.
Tours will be taking place on Tuesday 21st June at 10.30am and Friday 24th June at 3.00pm. To book your place on the tour, please contact Juliette Truman on j.truman@mcaslan.co.uk.
AF 2011 is organised by RIBA North West, the regional office of the RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects), to demonstrate the importance of architecture and good design and the role it plays in daily life.
The festival runs from 17 - 26 June across the North West and includes building tours, family events, 'architect in the store' days, walking tours and exhibitions. For more details about the tour, please visit the AF's website.
