Managing Director of JMP Appointed on Places Matter! Design Review Panel

JMP's Managing Director Tony Skipper has been selected as one of the 17 newly appointed members of the Design Review Panel for the North West architecture and built environment organisation, Places Matter! The panel which offers an impartial service for local authorities, developers and designers was described by its chair, Martin Stickley as the 'most effective means of assisting developers and local planning authorities to improve the quality and value of developments.'

The organisation which works across public and private sectors to drive up the skills and knowledge of all involved in new development, promoting good design and encouraging strong client leadership said it had received more than 180 applications from prospective panel members.
Annie Atkins, Places Matter! programme director, said: "We have always been committed to widening the hand-on experience of the design review process in the North West and are looking forward to working with the considerable body of talent and expertise that has emerged through the recruitment process."
The North West Design Review Panel has been in operation since 2007 and has looked at 230 schemes.
