Building Design (BD) has published a four-page feature on JMP's ongoing work at Lancaster University as part of a BD Review on Higher Education.
The article charts JMP's relationship with the university, which began with the delivery of a campus development Masterplan in 2006 and the design of the BREEAM Excellent rated Postgraduate Statistics Centre. JMP has since undertaken a number of projects at Lancaster University, including the "Learning Zone" and most recently the RIBA Award-winning Charles Carter Building.
All projects have been rooted in JMP's increasingly detailed understanding of the 200-acre campus and evolving educational needs, with the practice working closely with the university's estates director throughout.
