Rethinking George Square - Honouring the Past and Celebrating the Future
Following an informal public meeting last month, John McAslan + Partners has been developing ideas which we hope further capture the civic importance of George Square and people's aspirations for its refurbishment - essentially honouring the past and celebrating the future. John McAslan + Partners and its consultant team has organised a second informal public meeting on Monday 18th February which will take place upstairs at Café Gandolfi in Glasgow's Merchant City. The team is proposing that the meeting takes the form of an informal workshop extending from 08.00am onwards, with breakfast provided by Café Gandolfi for all participants. We will be delighted to welcome all attendees, including representatives from Glasgow Council, who would like to express their own views as to how George Square might be refurbished.
