The new Hub and refurbishment scheme rationalises circulation, reinvigorates existing accommodation, and forms a new, landscaped heart for the campus. The landscaping provides an animated focal square that deals with level changes while improving movement across the campus. The Hub is also the first new build project in Blackpool to achieve BREEAM 'Excellent' - praised for its approach to sustainable design and environmental performance through the use of passive natural ventilation, rainwater harvesting, and efficient building management systems.
