Golf Clubhouse Development, Doha

The design of the Golf Clubhouse is inspired by the traditional forms and details of historic Qatari buildings, creating an architectural language that looks to the future without abandoning the past. The building is conceived as a series of interlinked pavilions; deep reveals to the façade apertures create dramatic modelling of light and shadow, reinforcing the design's monolithic character. The architecture of the Clubhouse is unified by a highly crafted approach to materials and detailing. The proposed building is arranged over two principal floors totalling approx 9,500sqm gross, with a lower ground car park which also houses back of house facilities. The interlinked pavilions accommodate Banqueting, Dining, Hotel, Gym and Spa amenities, legibly organised with each function housed in a separate pavilion.
