Human Resources Building, University of Lancaster

The refurbishment of this former computer centre building provides high quality, flexible space to house all departments of Human Resources for the first time on campus. The accessible and inclusive design creates a pleasant working environment, maximising both natural light. The space provides a mix of celluar and open plan office spaces, meeting rooms, break-out spaces and a suite of adaptable training facilities for staff, students and delegates. A PC dropin facility embraces modern technology with a flexible working ethic. A specific feature of the building is its green roof which provides many benefits including a refuge for wildlife and reduction of surface water run-off.
