John Lewis at Liverpool One

This John Lewis store in Liverpool's Paradise Street Development occupies a key site and provides 22,000 sqm of retail and support accommodation over four floors.  The building is a concrete framed construction with a layered façade comprising sandstone panels, full height glazing, articulated fins and cornice elements.  The curvilinear form follows the natural geometries of the existing streets, providing cafés and public areas within day-lit interior volumes.  The scheme offers impressive views of the park, the waterfront and a panorama of the city.
