John Roan School

This BSF-funded project provides two buildings across the split-site campus.  The first is a three-storey school at Westcombe Park, offering flexible learning environments for years 9, 10 and 11.   A double-height entrance, with stepped seating for informal gatherings, break-out and performance, connects the main education and sports blocks.  This level accommodates classrooms, dining area, design and technology labs, offices, drama and activities studios, and DSP facilities.  Upper floors contain classrooms, open plan ICT breakout areas, staff bases, laboratories, classrooms, an open learning resource centre and a winter garden. A sports and amenity building doubles as a community facility.
