Kelvin Hall

John McAslan + Partners was appointed as part of a multi-disciplinary team to develop proposals to convert Glasgow's
much-loved Kelvin Hall into the city's newest cultural destination, combining, in the first phase, sports facilities with accessible archive storage for Glasgow Museums, The Hunterian and Scottish Screen. The completed project will be a thriving new publicly accessible cultural facility, with a proposed second phase museum use adding to the rich cultural mix. Kelvin Hall is listed and JMP's heritage team was also closely involved in this project, preparing a Conservation Management Plan for the building.
