John McAslan + Partners were appointed by 4Futures, a joint venture between the London Borough of Southwark and Balfour Beatty to produce an initial concept design for a mixedbur use leisure facility in Elephant & Castle.
The new leisure centre will provide state of the art sports and leisure facilities that are accessible to the whole community at the heart of the Elephant and Castle regeneration. Set in a new public open space and adjacent to the green lung of St Mary's Churchyard, the leisure centre will become a new focal point for the community.
