John McAslan + Partners recieved two prestigious accolades at the London Planning Awards last month for the redesign of King's Cross Station.

The scheme first picked up the award for Best Project 5 Years On, beating nominated schemes incuding The Shard and Olympic Park, and was later honoured with the Mayor's Award for Planning Excellence. The latter is regarded as the best reflection of the aspirations of the new draft London Plan.
