Our work on Glasgow's George Square and Avenues project is progressing to the next stage. The urban design and landscape project will transform the historic square – Glasgow's prime civic space first laid out in the 1870s – and nearly 3 kilometres of surrounding streets. Part of Glasgow’s £115 million Avenues programme, our plan integrates new cycle lanes, green infrastructure and widened pavements that prioritise pedestrians over vehicles.
