The supply of emergency shelters to areas hit by wars or natural disasters has not always provided fully functional equipment. Tom Corsellis, along with the transgovernmental and UN-supported Shelter Standards Consortium, helped to develop robust new international standards through the development of two modular designs for emergency family shelters. The tents are designed to provide a tough, basic shelter.
