This week two of John McAslan + Partners' projects were recognised at the Haringey Design Awards. Grainger PLC’s Apex Gardens and Berkeley Square Developments’ The Gessner - Berol Yard were both shortlisted for the awards, with The Gessner winning the Excellent Homes category.

The Gessner - Berol Yard is a key building within the 880 home Ashley Road Masterplan which JMP led successfully through planning. The Gessner delivers 166 new homes, office and retail spaces and a vibrant new public square in Tottenham.

Apex Gardens, which completed earlier this year, is a landmark 22-storey tower, delivering substantially more residential accommodation with 163 apartments including 32 percent affordable.

The shortlisted projects are an exemplar of the high-quality development coming forward in the borough, bringing together good design and deliverability, promoting inclusivity, and collaboration with the local community.
