King’s Cross Station, which recently underwent a major redesign and transformation led by John McAslan + Partners, has been ranked as the best station in the UK according to a survey published today by independent watchdog Transport Focus.
Taken from a survey of more than 28,000 rail commuters, the redeveloped King’s Cross scored a 96 percent satisfaction score, thus beating its neighbour peer London St Pancras, which was ranked second. With a score of 58 percent and 66 percent, Glasgow Queen Street and Gatwick Airport are, respectively, the most unpopular stations in the UK.
