John McAslan + Partners is delighted that our Bond Street Station is one of the 10 central stations on London’s Elizabeth Line that was named yesterday evening within the Royal Institute of British Architects’ Stirling Award for 2024 – UK's premier architecture prize, awarded to a team consisting of studios from Grimshaw, Maynard, Equation and AtkinsRealis.
It was wonderful to have the Royal Institute of British Architects to have chosen to mark this event at the Roundhouse, the 19th century railway engine shed in Chalk Farm London that our practice remodelled into a 21st century performance space almost twenty years ago.
Congratulations to all involved: Grimshaw, Maynard Design Consultancy, Equation, AtkinsRéalis, WilkinsonEyre, Hawkins\Brown, WW+P Architects, BDP (Building Design Partnership Ltd), Adamson Associates Architects, Allies and Morrison and Fereday Pollard!
