Fanos Panayides
Fanos Panayides joined JMP in 2003 and has played a leading role in a diverse range of work across transportation, commercial, mixed-use, residential, education and cultural sectors. He has recently returned to the UK following two years based in Qatar, leading JMP's extensive portfolio of projects within Doha’s $5bn Msheireb redevelopment. The practice’s contribution to this ambitious 35ha urban regeneration scheme includes commercial, mixed-use, residential and cultural buildings, together with significant public realm works and complex interfaces for Doha’s new Metro infrastructure, specifically the multi-station Doha Metro Green Line Project.
As Director with responsibility for major projects, Fanos leads the practice's diverse mix of transport projects within the Urban Infrastructure Team. Fanos was made Associate in 2007, Associate Director in 2009 and Director in 2012. He currently leads the Part 3 mentoring programme and is a member of the practice's sustainability steering group.
